At Central Bikes, we understand that choosing the right motorcycle or scooter for you can be a minefield. Whether its petrol or electric and the how much bhp you require play a vital role in your love for commuting, so we offer free test rides on a wide range of our bikes and scooter we stock in store. All we require is a credit card, a copy of your ID and, a recent utility bill, proof of licence (AM, A1, A2 , A) and away you go.

How do I book a free test ride?

Simply fill out our test ride booking form and we’ll get back to you to confirm your booking.

You can also give us a call on 020 3987 6666 or drop us an email. We’ll arrange a suitable date and time for you to come into our store at 15 Shepherds Bush Road W6 7LX, we’ll size you up for the right bike, take a few details and away you go.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

You must wear a helmet for Central Bikes to allow you to test ride one of our bikes or Scooters. We do not supply helmets, so please bring your own, or if you don’t own a helmet, there are plenty of great helmets at affordable prices in-store and online.

Please do not forget to wear suitable shoes (trust us, we’ve had people turn up in flip flops), a warm jacket and bring your helmet.

Terms and conditions

We prioritise customer and staff safety so all bikes are sanitised before and after test rides.

We do require you to wear a helmet on a demo ride to ensure your own safety, unfortunately due to the Covid 19 Situation we are unable to offer any loan safety equipment so you will need to bring your own or we have a variety of helmets available for purchase prior to your demo.

You must be 18 or over to take one of our bikes for a demo.

Before you carry out your test ride we require you to fill out our test ride form explaining all the T&C’s in depth, we will also need you to bring 2 forms of identification with at least one showing your address.We will keep hold of these while you carry out your test ride. You’ll also need to bring a debit or credit card in your name as we will take a non-refundable deposit prior to letting you experience everything the world of bikes has to offer.
