The best beginner street bike?
The current market for 125cc motorcycles is saturated with high-quality, affordable, enjoyable, and stylish bikes. However, the Mutt Mongrel 125 manages to stand out from the competition. This vehicle is an excellent package with a cool contemporary street style and attitude. Like other Mutt brothers and sisters. It starts from just £2950 plus OTR (£55 Registration plus £20 Tax). Not only is it an excellent motorcycle, but it also offers an outstanding price-to-performance ratio.
New Mongrel 125 Features
If you look closely, you’ll notice some cool little touches that are exclusive to the new Mutt bikes that you won’t find on any other brands of motorcycles. These upgrades are so subtle that you might not even notice them at first.
Brand new LED indicators
To begin, we have brand new LED indicators machined from a solid block of aluminium using CNC technology. In addition, CNC technology is on a machined arm made of stainless steel. In addition to that, we now have headlight brackets made out of machined aluminium. This configuration results in a front end that are quite neat.
CNC-machined clamps
We now have fully CNC-machined clamps coated in a highly durable hard anodized black finish on the handlebar clamps. Moving back a little bit, we come to the handlebar clamps.
Machined aluminium
Machined aluminium is one of those cool processes that give a motorcycle the appearance of being truly customized, and as always, when we work on Mutt Motorcycles, we use the knowledge and expertise we gained from building one-off custom motorcycles. When you look down at your speed, the machined fork caps and head stem nut, which have once again been coated in a beautiful anodized finish, combined with the new speedometer surround, provide a beautiful view finished.
New CNC oil filter cap
Kneel and look at the motor and you will notice that we have a new CNC oil filter cap, but look a little closer, and you’ll see some new machined valve covers on top of the engine. These valve covers are reminiscent of the ’60s and 70’s Brit bikes. This is one of our favourite new touches but requires more scrutiny. That is a teeny-tiny detail that might not immediately jump out at everyone, but we like it.
Four beautifully machined CNC nuts
When we finally reach the chunky little posterior of a Mutt, we will notice that there are four beautifully machined CNC nuts holding the rear shocks in place.
Conclusion
In addition, Mutt Motorcycles have been hard at work with sheet metal. They have designed a brand new angular sump guard and matching rear master cylinder cover, both of which give the motorcycles a lower-slung and more aggressive appearance; Bruce Wayne would be happy with them. Overall, this is a bike that has the potential to surprise you when compared to other options that are more obvious. See what we see, and check out a Mutt Motorcycle today
