Hammersmith MOT on motorcycles & scooters
At Central Bikes Workshop, we now have a fully equipped Hammersmith motorbike MOT station where we offer same-day MOTs with a while-you-wait option available. Our MOT testers carry out class 1 & 2 MOTs on motorcycles and scooters on-site.
Class 3 MOTs can also be arranged for three-wheelers like the Piaggio MP3s. Our team of MOT testers are fully qualified, factory-trained motorcycle and scooter technicians.

If you are uncertain whether your bike will pass an MOT, we are happy to provide a free MOT check. All our MOT testers are trained and regulated by the DVSA.
How often do I need a MOT?
An MOT is due when your bike is 3 years old and then annually thereafter.
What is the difference between an MOT and a scooter service or motorcycle service?
An MOT is a visual safety inspection whereas a service maintains the performance and longevity of your bike. Things that would generally be included in a good service would be an oil change, filter change, change of spark plugs, lubrication of moving parts and fluid level checks.
How long will an MOT take?
An MOT will take between 45 minutes to an hour.

We can recover* your bike if it is not running or you can simply drop the bike to us at the workshop. Courtesy bikes are available but must be pre-booked.
